Increasing it to 8 would make the already easy mid and late game even easier. Practical reason: -Despite the zip mode, even just 1 lance + enemies can draw out into long battles. Triple srm 2s and a uac 5 makes for a great vehicle destroyer and the quick refire rate still puts out the damage against mechs. It was a solid workhorse even upto the end of the campaign for me. Due to leaving the lasers outta the arms this thing can take a beating and is still quicker and cheaper to repair compared to larger mechs.
